Body-changing results from recovery stories to newfound strength
Saved from Surgery
"Like many active people who became sedentary during Covid, I suffered from consistent and debilitating back pain. The pain was daily and got to the point where it restricted my activities, my ability to work, and eventually my sleep. I needed to do something, and luckily all the doctors I saw told me that for whatever reason pilates worked the best. If this didn’t work, then the next step was surgery.
I had tried pilates in the past and I realized that pilates works but you need to have the right instructor who understands your needs and physical limitations. no two patients are the same.
I can tell you that after 4 months of training with Maddy least twice a week, she has changed my life.
She understands what works and what doesn’t for my particular problems. Most importantly she changes up the routines every time keeping my interest level high and also maximizing my time in the session. She is completely engaged in the process and focuses on the task at hand - you the client. She doesn’t push or overwork the problem, she listens to the client and then addresses the issues. None of the exercises are painful or she changes it.
Pilates is different. With the right instructor like Maddy you will make small improvements weekly. Over time these small improvements add up to completely changing the way you live. I would highly recommend you try it out and work with Maddy. Check in with yourself weekly and see how much you improve. Be consistent and engaged and you will feel better over a rather quick period of time."
Low Back Pain Gone for Good
"I would like to share the experience I had practicing Pilates with Madison. A little background first; In 2017 I started experiencing lower back pain which isn’t that uncommon for many people, and being a Pilot very common in my profession. After discussing it with my doctor and doing some x-rays and MRIs we learned that while I had no serious issues, I did have some spinal stenosis, most likely do to age (I was 56 at the time).

My doctor recommended yoga and some core work. I dove into yoga and practiced religiously for a year. When this brought only some relief, I started trying other avenues; physical therapy, acupuncture, rolfing, and core work at the gym. Again, these practices brought relief but it always seemed temporary. It was a constant daily battle to keep my back pain in check and a day never went by that I wasn’t conscious of back pain on some level.

I tried a few Pilates classes elsewhere but felt that there wasn’t enough focus on my core so I decided to try private lessons. Lucky for me, my first lesson was with Madison. After a few lessons I was ecstatic to feel more relief than was the norm. Not only was I experiencing less back pain but I actually had days where I didn’t even think about my back; this simply was not the case in the two years prior to Pilates.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Madison was instrumental in this wonderful change. I also realize that it wasn’t just Pilates that helped me, it was Madison. She is one of those people who has the qualities that make an outstanding instructor.
The first mark of a great instructor is someone who can listen to a student and then figure out what the specific needs of that student are. She has to have the expertise in her field to be able to address those needs, monitor the outcomes, and then have the ability to adapt as necessary. This is exactly what Madison did for me. She worked me hard and every single hour spent with Madison was among the most beneficial things I did for my back in years. I was always amazed at the huge set of tools that Madison had to draw from. Just when I thought I understood the program, Madison would have me try a different exercise while always focusing on what was best for my back.

Beyond being a professional in the field of Pilates, Madison is simply a pleasure to work with. She is always upbeat, easy to talk with, and motivating.

I cannot possibly recommend Madison enough to anyone who is looking for a Pilates instructor. I am very grateful for the time I have worked with her."
Fabulous Feel the Burn Class
Love love love Movement by Maddy. From the moment I walked in I could feel the positive energy. Maddy is picture perfect with a brilliant smile and bright eyes ... but don't let the beauty fool you, she had our abs burning , our glutes screaming and working hard on our moves .... all while she smiles and pushes you to your limit. Fabulous class. I cannot wait to go back. I did the Pilates mat class and I highly recommend it. Thanks for the best workout Maddy!
A Difference in 1 Day
From a first timer to a believer! Maddy (Madison) is truly a magician at her craft. I work out 4 times a week with a trainer and she had me feeling better, rejuvenated and actually sweating more in 1 day of Pilates than my entire week of working out. Her knowledge, patience and exquisite love for the art of Pilates is unprecedented! She also fixed an imbalance and clicking in my hip that had been causing me pain.
I'm beyond grateful to have found Maddy!
